About

Certified jack of all trades, sarcasm, pretending to know what he's doing, and "making dad jokes without having kids, guess that makes me a faux pas"

BIO:
Michael Finn, more often referred to simply as Finn, is absolutely thrilled to be a Maniac with Atlanta Workshop Players! A versatile film and stage actor with decades of experience, he can’t wait to get back in front of an audience as part of an improv troupe where he can allow his creativity to shine. Finn was recently seen off-Broadway playing the titular character in Macbeth at the American Theatre of Actors. Other favorite theatre credits include Detective Strode in Set It Off (National Tour), Iago in Othello (ATA NYC), Arthur Chase in The Black Book (NYC Premiere), and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet (Pax Amicus Castle Rep). Not one to rest on his laurels, he can been see in dozens of feature and short films (The Last Chapter, The Wake-up Call), on TV (Ironheart, Young Rock, Black Lightning), and in commercials (Geico, Publix). Finn has a BFA from Montclair State University and continues his education by training with teachers versed in different techniques including Improv, Meisner and Chubbuck.

Aside from acting, Finn is also a director, producer, writer, photographer, and award winning filmmaker. Inspired by visionaries such as Spike Jonze, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Gary Oldman, he is known to bring endless energy, unique ideas, and a high level of professionalism to any set. Full of drive, ambition, and humor, Finn looks forward to working more both in front of and behind the camera, hoping to push limits and erase boundaries, with his sights set on collaborating with visionaries on all levels.
