Video &
Photography

We are looking for a highly talented, motivated photographer, videographer and video editor with experience in video production, cinematography and video editing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for multimedia projects, a sharp eye for detail, and strong fundamentals in video production as well as knowledge in video editing software. The Video/Photography intern is responsible for providing support for the public relations department through a variety of channels, print, digital, web, video and other as assigned. The primary opportunity will be in working on crew for multiple short film projects that will go to film festivals internationally.

 

The Video/Photography Intern’s primary duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Videography and editing of short films, PSAs and promotional videos.

  • Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadlines.

  • Retouch and manipulate images; post production (editing, color correction, sound etc.)

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Social Media Director to develop design concepts

Social Media Marketing

Looking to hire an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media platforms. Update website and participate in launching social media campaigns.The intern hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team, as well as a creative mindset . Will work directly under our social media/marketing director.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to website design project

  • Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks

  • Assist with online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more

  • Optimize website and social media

  • Perform keyword analysis

  • Perform cost/benefit analysis

Administrative & Public Relations

This intern will be our first point of contact for the company and must display strong multitasking skills. They will be responsible for ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures), answering, screening and forwarding telephone calls as well as supporting our Intern Program Liaison. Will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing, clerical and administrative duties

 

Responsibilities

  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. 

  • Maintains a professional, polite demeanor 

  • Enter contact information into contact management systems

  • Works closely with the Intern Program Director 

  • Knowledgeable about company and facility and comfortable answering student, parent or guest questions.

Technical Theatre
 

We are seeking intern(s) that are interested in the fields of costume design, SFX hair, and/or SFX makeup. The ideal candidate has experience in one or more of these fields, has a passion for costuming and/or makeup/hair, great attention to detail, and remarkable problem solving skills. The costume and/or SFX makeup and hair intern(s) will be responsible for helping create and piece together costumes and/or makeup and hair designs for the Atlanta Workshop Players’ upcoming shows. Interns will report directly to our executive director, Lynn Stallings.

 

Technical Theatre Intern’s primary duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Design and coordinate costumes for upcoming shows and short films.

  • Design and apply makeup and hair styles to actors for our various productions.

  • Solve any and all wardrobe, hair, and/or makeup issues or malfunctions.

  • Collaborate with executive director and actors to find what best fits each project’s vision
